According to Immunet 1,932,510 members are protected from 28,865,081 threats, as of October 2011 which is certainly an impressive achievement. Immunet is best as a complementary antivirus protection, i.e. with another antivirus program that is more comprehensive. The reason for this is it lacks offline antivirus protection as the protection only works with an internet connection to the cloud server.

Our Verdict: 5/10 for Standalone protection, 8/10 as complimentary protection. The antivirus offers reasonable protection when used with another program and runs with such few resources that you wouldn't even notice it. As a standalone we would say this is a bad idea, made in part that way because of the reliance on connecting to a cloud server to protect your computer.
